One of the pleasures of enjoying a new hobby is learning all you can about it. The internet and the industry have financed these great forums for sharing common interests. For RVing, the fellow we bought the RV from recommended rv.net. I had lurked there for a few months before the big purchase, but didn't sign up to post until we had our first newbie problem. I could tell a "dumb newbie" story during the first month of ownership!

Since then I have found a wonderful community of posters who obviously love RV's, sharing ideas (mods) and helping people solve the many mysteries these rigs hold. It has been part of the fun of having the new toy to read about other folks rebuilding from scratch or perfecting their suspensions or replacing carpet with manufactured wood flooring.
